Diesel Particulate Filter
DPF

The main function of diesel particulate collector (DPF) is to greatly reduce particulate emissions in diesel exhaust through the principle of particulate sedimentation and adsorption. By blocking the passage and other means, the exhaust speed is slowed down, forcing the engine exhaust gas to flow through the wall of the passage, so that most particles are trapped by adsorption or deposition. According to the tail gas flow mode, DPF can be divided into partial flow particle trap (FT-DPF) and wall flow particle trap (WF-DPF). Under normal conditions, the filtration efficiency of partial flow particle traps can reach 40% ~ 80%, while the filtration efficiency of wall flow particle traps can reach more than 90%. According to the regeneration mode, DPF can also be divided into active regeneration and passive regeneration.
